IDR is seeking a Application Systems Integration Lead to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role is within the public sector, supporting state-level projects related to healthcare and eligibility systems. The position offers a chance to work on critical government initiatives in a fully remote setting.

Responsibilities: 

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines and integration workflows to support data-intensive applications.

• Architect and implement ETL solutions leveraging Python and Snowflake to ensure efficient data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the system integration strategy, ensuring seamless connectivity between applications and cloud infrastructure.

• Conduct performance tuning and scalability optimization of data models, pipelines, and queries.

• Implement best practices for code management, including version control, testing, and deployment through Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Support ongoing data validation, monitoring, and automated testing to ensure system reliability and data quality.

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of ETL development experience using Python.

• Strong SQL expertise and experience working with relational databases.

• In-depth knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and data migration best practices.

• Hands-on experience with AWS tools such as Lambda, S3, Glue, Redshift, or CloudFormation.

• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), version control (Git), code reviews, and testing methodologies.

• Experience implementing automated testing and continuous quality assurance for data solutions.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps workflows.

• Proven ability to architect and deliver scalable, maintainable, and testable codebases in complex enterprise environments.
