IDR is seeking a Azure .NET Engineer to join one of our top clients for an onsite opportunity in Mechanicsburg, PA. This organization is a leading provider in the technology and cloud solutions industry, committed to innovative development and scalable enterprise applications.
Position Overview for the Azure .NET Engineer:
- Design, develop, and maintain Azure-native applications in enterprise environments
- Build and support scalable microservices architectures using ASP.NET Core
- Develop and maintain containerized applications, including writing Dockerfiles and managing container images
- Deploy and manage applications across Azure Container Apps and AKS / Kubernetes environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support CI/CD pipelines and automation strategies
Requirements for the Azure .NET Engineer:
- 5+ years of experience in Azure & Cloud Architecture, including Azure networking, services, and security components
- Proficiency in .NET & Application Development with ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and advanced C# programming
- Hands-on experience with Containerization & Orchestration (Docker / Podman, Kubernetes / AKS) for 5+ years
- Strong understanding of architectural patterns such as DDD, TDD, SOLID and testing frameworks like NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, YAML/Bicep templates, and troubleshooting container runtime issues
