Position Overview for the CAPPS Functional Consultant
- Provide highly advanced consultative services and functional assistance to support the CAPPS Program.
- Act as first-line Level 2 support for the most complex, high-profile agencies with statutory service requirements.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolve issues across system configuration, data inconsistencies, workflows, and module-specific problems.
- Support integration and interface investigations, including interfaces, APIs, imports/exports, and middleware issues.
Requirements for the CAPPS Functional Consultant:
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of State of Texas applicable policies.
- Extensive technical skillsets needed with App Designer, Integration Broker, assorted SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, SAP Business Objects, etc. to support functional responsibilities.
- Extensive knowledge and experience performing system configuration changes.
- Extensive knowledge supporting and providing oversight with batch jobs, i.e., Run My Jobs (RMJ).
- Extensive knowledge of security best practices, NIST standards, and multi-tenancy applicability for a statewide ERP instance.
