IDR is seeking a CAPPS Functional Lead to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. In this role, you’ll provide senior-level functional and consultative support for the CAPPS Program, focusing on HR/PY expertise within a statewide ERP environment. You’ll help shape functional design, configuration changes, security setup, and ongoing application support that directly supports CAPPS agencies.
Position Overview for the CAPPS Functional Lead
- Provide highly advanced (senior-level) consultative services and functional assistance related to supporting the CAPPS Program.
- Serve as the functional subject matter expert for the CAPPS HR/PY Human Resources module, including workforce administration and HR security setup with row-level security.
- Interpret and apply state statutes, HR policies, and labor regulations while supporting CAPPS HR/PY application needs.
- Lead the functional design phase by creating and/or reviewing Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and performing functional configuration changes and related activities.
- Support functional configuration efforts involving PeopleSoft delivered features (e.g., Page and Field Configurator, Drop Zones, Event Mapping, Page Composer).
Requirements for the CAPPS Functional Lead:
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of State of Texas applicable policies.
- Extensive knowledge of federal labor laws.
- Extensive technical skillsets needed with App Designer, Integration Broker, assorted SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, SAP Business Objects, or similar tools to support functional responsibilities.
- Extensive knowledge and experience performing system configuration changes and supporting the CAPPS HR/PY tower in PeopleSoft HCM version 9.2.
- Extensive knowledge of security best practices, NIST standards, and multi-tenancy applicability for a statewide ERP instance.
