Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Data Engineer:- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines that ingest, process, and transform data from various sources (e.g., databases, APIs, streaming platforms, cloud storage).
- Build and optimize data warehouses and data lakes to support business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning initiatives.
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data availability and performance.
Required Skills for Data Engineer:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience as a Data Engineer or 3 year’s experience as a developer or in a similar role.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI and SSRS)
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services.
- Proficiency in SQL, including writing queries to extract, filter, and join data from relational databases
