IDR is seeking a Database Administrator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Decatur, Georgia. This role is focusing on data management and system accuracy to support public health initiatives.
Position Overview for the Database Administrator :
- Responsible for accurate retrieval, analysis, and correction of data within electronic health record systems.
- Utilize SQL queries and reporting tools to identify and resolve data integrity issues.
- Perform routine audits on benefit assignments, insurance relationships, and patient visit statuses.
- Correct billing and coding inaccuracies to ensure compliance and billing accuracy.
- Document data entry processes to support development of standard operating procedures.
Requirements for the Database Administrator :
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience working with EHR systems, preferably MyInsight by Netsmart
- Proficient in SQL for data querying and report generation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience performing healthcare data cleanup and auditing workflows
