Summary

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will join Empire Distributor’s growing Marketing team to support the planning, execution and analysis of the company’s e-commerce, email, social media and various other digital marketing initiatives with the Digital Marketing Manager. We are looking for a highly qualified digital marketing professional who is eager to grow their skillset within the wine, beer, spirits and non-alcoholic beverage industry and promote our wholesale beverage offerings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This role supports the Digital Marketing Manager in establishing, executing and evaluating digital marketing plans, strategy and tactics. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Website & E‑Commerce — Support and grow adoption of the company e‑commerce platform by building awareness with internal teams and customers; organize sales team trainings and maintain training and reference materials; maintain an up‑to‑date inventory of training and promotional e‑commerce assets; troubleshoot account setup, ordering, and platform issues; and update product listings and page content as needed.

Analytics & Reporting — Maintain accurate and organized tracking dashboards using a variety of analytics tools to track e‑commerce, email, social media, and website KPIs; conduct regular data hygiene reviews; and collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop new dashboards, data visualizations, and performance reports for key internal stakeholders.

Email Newsletters — Maintain and manage email subscriber lists, ensuring data accuracy, organization, and compliance with email marketing regulations (including GDPR and CAN‑SPAM); execute corporate email newsletters by submitting creative briefs to the Graphics team and managing final audience segmentation, scheduling and sends.

Digital Programming & Influencers — Execute corporate social media posting across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram in alignment with company strategy, guidelines, and brand voice; maintain an organized digital marketing calendar covering social media, email, and event activity; support influencer events and trade show programming in partnership with in‑market teams; fulfill supplier influencer requests by providing curated influencer lists aligned to program goals; and serve as a initial point of contact for influencers and media inquiries.

Research & Optimization — Provide digital marketing recommendations and insights to customers and suppliers based on best practices; research digital marketing, wine and spirits, and industry trends to support continuous improvement; and partner with the Digital Marketing Manager to identify opportunities to enhance digital marketing processes and overall strategy.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university is required; Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or similar focus preferred. Three to five years related experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.


Computer Skills

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Excel, Word and Powerpoint; Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Mailchimp, Canva and/or Buffer; Ability to use social media platforms at an intermediate level, including knowledge of hashtag use, scheduling, posting image and video content, and gathering relevant analytics data on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Youtube platforms. Video editing experience is preferred.
