Position Overview/Responsibilities for the HR Compliance Coordinator:
- Coordinate the centralized processing of unemployment claims and background screening
- Analyze HR developments and make recommendations on HR-related matters
- Serve as the first point of contact for pre-employment screening and HR Compliance related inquiries
- Review background screening results and drug test results, ensuring applicants meet company hiring criteria
- Maintain working knowledge of federal and various state employment and HR-related laws
- Coordinate process and policy audits leading to best practice operations and cost savings
- Serve as the first point of contact for handbook and policy updates, ensuring compliance in the employee handbook and company policies
Required Skills for HR Compliance Coordinator:
- 0-2 + years of experience in an HR position
- High School diploma
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to discreetly handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, Kronos, or ServiceNow is a plus
