IDR is seeking a Insights Analyst III to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, you’ll use data to inform strategic and operational decisions for a consumer-facing product in the interactive entertainment/consumer tech space. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define KPIs, build dashboards, and deliver clear, actionable insights that guide product health and performance.
Position Overview for the Insights Analyst III:
- Analyze large, complex datasets to understand user engagement, performance trends, and drivers of business outcomes
- Develop and maintain core KPIs, dashboards, and recurring reporting for product and operational decision-making
- Partner with data engineering to structure datasets and improve data quality, reliability, and accessibility
- Create frameworks, test hypotheses, and communicate insights to stakeholders and leaders in a clear narrative
- Support ad-hoc analyses across initiatives such as launches, feature/content evaluation, and operational planning
Requirements for the Insights Analyst III:
- 5+ years of professional experience in data analytics supporting product and/or business decision-making
- Strong SQL skills and experience building dashboards/visualizations (e.g., Tableau or similar BI tools)
- Hands-on experience working with data pipelines/ETL concepts and collaborating with data engineering partners
- Experience defining KPIs and translating ambiguous questions into measurable analyses and recommendations
- Strong communication and storytelling ability, including presenting insights to cross-functional partners and leadership
