Invariant Corporation is seeking a disciplined and analytically strong Integrated Master Scheduler to develop, maintain, and manage the Integrated Master Schedule for a Department of War weapons development contract. This role is critical to program execution and will provide the schedule architecture, analysis, and visibility required to manage complex development, integration, test, and delivery activities across internal teams and subcontractors. The Integrated Master Scheduler must be able to convert program strategy into an executable schedule and provide decision-quality insight to program leadership.
Duties Include:
- Develop, maintain, and control the Integrated Master Schedule for a complex DoW weapons development program
- Build and manage schedule logic, task dependencies, milestones, critical path, and resource-informed planning assumptions
- Integrate schedules across engineering, test, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and subcontractor activities
- Support establishment and maintenance of program baselines and schedule status processes
- Perform schedule health checks, critical path analysis, variance analysis, and what-if assessments
- Identify schedule risks, near-term execution threats, and recovery opportunities
- Support program reviews, customer reviews, internal management reviews, and milestone assessments with schedule-based analysis
- Ensure schedule alignment to contractual requirements, deliverables, test events, and major program milestones
- Work closely with the Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, and functional leads to ensure realistic and executable planning
- Incorporate subcontractor schedules and external dependencies into the integrated program view
- Generate schedule metrics, dashboards, and summary products for leadership and customer reporting
- Support change management and baseline control associated with evolving program scope and execution conditions
Requirements:
- Experience developing and managing integrated schedules on complex defense or aerospace development efforts
- Strong proficiency with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project and OPDEC
- Deep understanding of schedule logic, critical path methodology, float analysis, and integrated planning principles
- Experience integrating multi-disciplinary development activities into a single executable program schedule
- Ability to analyze schedule performance and communicate impacts clearly to program leadership
- Experience supporting formal program controls and schedule reporting
- Experience working with subcontractors and integrating supplier schedule inputs
- Strong understanding of development lifecycles, integration and test, manufacturing readiness, and milestone-based execution
- Ability to challenge unrealistic plans and drive schedule discipline across the team
- Experience in a DoD environment with CDRLs, IMP/IMS concepts, or structured milestone reviews preferred
- Active SECRET Clearance
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for positions requiring a Security Clearance
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with weapons systems, missile programs, energetics, defense electronics, UAS, or C-UAS programs
- Experience with DCMA schedule assessments or equivalent program control standards
- Familiarity with schedule-related compliance expectations
- Experience preparing schedule products for government customers
- Knowledge of manufacturing, qualification, and test event scheduling
- Active security clearance
- PMI-SP or similar certification
Work Environment:
- Office, Lab, Warehouse and Field environment
Physical Requirements
- Sitting for extended periods of time at desk, in telecoms/meetings with peers, management
- Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to use stairs or elevators for access between floors and multiple buildings at customer worksites and Invariant facilities
