IDR is seeking a ODM Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Olympia, Washington. This role involves supporting critical Medicaid/Eligibility projects through the design and implementation of advanced business rules and decision services. The company operates within the healthcare and government services industry, focusing on public sector solutions and enterprise decision management.
Position Overview for the ODM Developer:
- Support the design, development, and deployment of business rules and decision services using IBM ODM or similar BRMS tools.
- Collaborate with analysts and technical teams to translate requirements into executable decision logic.
- Develop, test, and deploy decision artifacts, ruleflows, and data models to meet enterprise needs.
- Integrate ODM solutions with Java applications, APIs, and databases to enable real-time decision making.
- Perform testing, debugging, and optimization of business rules to ensure performance and compliance.
Requirements for the ODM Developer:
- 8+ years experience in developing, deploying, and managing business rules, decision tables, and rule flows.
- Proven expertise in implementing and optimizing business rules using IBM ODM.
- Advanced experience integrating rule engines within Java-based enterprise applications, leveraging Spring, REST APIs, and modern frameworks.
- Strong understanding of decision modeling (DMN) and rule authoring best practices for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Ability to collaborate with analysts, architects, and developers to align business rules with organizational policies and technical architectures.
