IDR is seeking a NGPOS Scripting Tech Lead to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Cincinnati, Ohio. You will lead the development of scalable backend solutions that integrate scripting, modern APIs, and event-driven systems in support of high-impact retail technology initiatives.
Position Overview for the NGPOS Scripting Tech Lead:
- Provide technical leadership in designing and building backend services using NGPOS scripting and Java-based technologies
- Develop RESTful API designs and integrate them into cloud-hosted solutions for reliability and scalability
- Architect and implement event-driven solutions that support responsive, resilient system behavior
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver improvements using modern database technologies and best practices
Requirements for the NGPOS Scripting Tech Lead:
- 6+ years Tech Lead experience with Python Scripting (Required)
- 6+ years Java Development (required)
- 6+ years Spring Boot (required)
- RESTful API Design (required)
- Event-Driven Architectures
