IDR is seeking a QA Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role involves ensuring the quality and functionality of software products through manual and automated testing processes. The company operates within the technology and healthcare sectors, focusing on delivering innovative solutions to improve user experiences.
Position Overview for the QA Engineer:
- Responsible for developing and maintaining test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
- Prepare UAT test cases and align them with business requirements, conducting walkthroughs with stakeholders to ensure clarity.
- Track test case execution and generate reports on testing progress.
- Log and track defects using Jira, and develop requirements traceability matrices.
- Support development teams in dev, test, and UAT environments, troubleshooting defects as required.
Requirements for the QA Engineer:
- Experience in writing and executing test cases, as well as creating test plans.
- Knowledge of software usability concepts, requirements traceability, and SDLC processes.
- Experience with Xray Test Case management tool and Jira Project management tool.
- Strong SQL query knowledge – Create, Read, Update, Delete.
- Experience in writing and executing test automation using UFT.
