IDR is seeking a Vulnerability Management Technical Support to join one of our top clients for a fully remote opportunity. This role involves providing technical support for vulnerability management and compliance scanning activities within a dynamic, client-focused environment. The position offers an excellent chance to work with leading cybersecurity tools and collaborate directly with clients and internal teams to ensure system security and compliance.
Position Overview for the Vulnerability Management Technical Support:
- Provide direct support for vulnerability and compliance scanning activities by working closely with client agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and support the deployment of vulnerability scanners such as Tenable One, Nessus, and TenableSC.
- Assist in applying compliance benchmarks, reviewing scan results, and coordinating remediation efforts.
- Support application scanning processes and troubleshoot connectivity issues with scanners, agents, and applications.
- Collaborate with development, network, and security teams to ensure effective vulnerability management and reporting.
Requirements for the Vulnerability Management Technical Support:
- Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable, Nessus, or similar.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience configuring scanners, agents, and security tools.
- Knowledge of security compliance frameworks, including CIS benchmarks and audit standards.
- Ability to communicate clearly and proactively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows command-line tools, and experience using ticketing systems like ServiceNow.
